Terms of service.

Thank you for choosing RISO. We’re honored to serve your family and committed to delivering exceptional quality. Please review the following terms to ensure smooth service:

1. Menu Planning

  • Your weekly menu will be customized according to the dietary restrictions you provide.

  • Every Sunday by 10:00 PM, you will receive a preview of the full menu for the upcoming week (note: specific dishes are not assigned to specific days in advance).

  • Once the menu is published, it is considered final and cannot be changed.

  • A daily menu card will be included with each delivery.

2. Cooler Use Policy

  • To maintain food quality, each household will receive one complimentary insulated cooler.

    • You may leave the cooler outside at all times or place it out before your scheduled delivery.

    • If you prefer not to use a cooler, please inform us.

  • Coolers must be returned within 7 days of cancellation.

3. Pricing & Payment

  • Payment is due within 7 days of invoice issuance.

  • Late payments (over 3 days past due) will result in temporary suspension of service.

4. Delivery

  • Daily delivery window: 3:00 PM – 5:30 PM

  • Meals will be delivered to your front entrance or into your cooler.

  • If you have a preferred drop-off location, please let us know.

5. Holidays

We do not deliver on public holidays. These include:
New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day

6. Flexible Absence Policy

We offer automatic credit for planned absences (excluding public holidays):

  • Notify us at least one week in advance to receive 100% credit toward your next month’s invoice.

Example:
If your family is away Wednesday–Friday during Week 3, those 3 days ($330 value) will be credited toward the next billing cycle.
If you miss just one day (e.g., Friday), you may:

  • Choose a premium dinner upgrade on another day (e.g., a seafood platter), or

  • Accrue $110 in credit for your next month’s invoice.

7. Trial Week Policy (Founding Members Only)

  • Prepay for the full month (e.g., $2200 for 5-day plan).

  • Experience the first full week of dinners.

  • By the end of that week (Saturday), you may:

    • Continue seamlessly with the remaining 3 weeks, or

    • Opt out and receive a $1650 refund (cost of remaining weeks).

8. Service Activation & Payment Methods

  • Your service officially begins on the payment date.

    • Example: If payment is made on July 20, service starts August 1.

  • Payment methods:

  • Payment is due within 7 days of receiving the invoice.

  • Late payments will result in a temporary hold on service.
